A Thankful Time: Reflecting on This Year and Looking Ahead
As we approach the end of the year, I want to pause and express my deepest gratitude to each of you who’ve been part of the Me Power journey.
Your support—whether through reading Me Power, attending workshops, sharing your stories, or simply showing up as your most authentic selves—has been nothing short of inspiring. Together, we’ve created a space where self-knowledge and principled action in practice thrive.
THANK YOU!
This season is a thankful time, a moment to acknowledge the growth, challenges, and triumphs we’ve experienced over the past year. It’s also an opportunity to set our intentions for the next episode.
I’d love to share a simple exercise to help you embrace the lessons of the past 12 months and prepare for what’s ahead.
Reflection Exercise: Embrace, Focus, Release
Embrace: What accomplishments, moments, or connections are you most proud of this year? Write them down and take a moment to celebrate them.
Focus: Identify one area of your life where you'd like to grow or make progress next year. What small, actionable step can you take to start?
Release: What no longer serves you? Whether it’s a habit, a mindset, or a situation, reflect on how you can let go of what’s holding you back.
As you work through these questions, I hope you’ll see just how far you’ve come and how much potential lies ahead.

“Hope is a discipline. It is not about magic. It’s not about ignoring reality. Hope is the recognition that we can act to bring about the world we want. It’s the work we do every single day to keep ourselves grounded in the belief that transformation is possible.” — Mariame Kaba
