There's a certain bond we form with our technology. We rely on it daily, trusting it to be the silent ally that propels us through tasks, work, and sometimes even adventures. But what happens when that trust is suddenly shattered?
Yeah, I am trying to stay calm! It's been tough living in a smaller city (about 65K) where there isn't an Apple Store. I am hopeful all my Cloud systems have me covered, though in recent months, I got sloppy with some of my saving practices. I'm still covered under Apple Care so wish me luck!
Jah & Jahes love sista. That’s awful! It makes me scared. How long had you had the Mac? And, do you think that you had a virus on it? Also, what did you do about your work? Were you able to finish the slide presentation on another computer? Did you go find an Apple Store somewhere? Take care.
Thanks so much for your care and concern! In this digital era, not having a device can be tricky. I was able to take it into the Apple Store and get it repaired within a couple of hours! I finished the presentation on another device and was able to deliver a good talk. It made for an interesting week, for sure! Thank goodness they were able to fix it in the Apple Store. Indeed, so much to be grateful for.
So glad that you were able to get to the Apple Store. I can’t drive so it would have been very difficult for me to get to another town or city for repairs. Happy holidays!
Nightmare fuel. I recently lost a bunch of files, but nothing on this level.
