There's a certain bond we form with our technology. We rely on it daily, trusting it to be the silent ally that propels us through tasks, work, and sometimes even adventures. But what happens when that trust is suddenly shattered? On Tuesday, November 14th, it was an ordinary evening, with the soft hum of the computer fan accompanying my work. Just as I was about to delve deeper into revamping my slides for a Keynote talk this Friday, my Macbook screen flickered and then... darkness. It felt like a cinematic pause, the kind that fills you with a sinking feeling, realizing that something just went horribly wrong.
Nightmare fuel. I recently lost a bunch of files, but nothing on this level.
